South & West Donegal

Taken from the shore of Lake Assaroe near Ballyshannon in the far south of the county. The lake as we know it was created by the hydro electric scheme near the town where the River Erne was dammed.

And another from a different spot nearby. The boats are used for angling on the lake which has good stocks of coarse fish and also has both Salmon and Sea Trout running through it on their way from the sea to the Lough Erne system.
