Street Art.
A collection of the city's political street art would not be complete without this one. Not to be outdone by the Loyalist and Republican publicists our local Socialist Workers have to get their bit of artwork before the public. Right in the middle of the central shopping area on the wall of Badgers pub where they often hold their meetings they have produced this montage of images ranging from East Timor liberation to the Raytheon company who produce defence equipment for the US military and have a small (non-military) plant in the town.
Just to the right of the above painting and out of view of this picture is another (totally non-political) painting. This time an advert for the pub itself. I have wondered if the permission was given for the first one on condition that the artist did the second as well. Quite possibly!
